Day 1 – Arrive in Delhi
4 Star twin share accommodation with breakfast daily

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 – Delhi
Following breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi including visit to Raj Ghat, drive past Red Fort and also visit Jama Masjid. Thereafter you will pass through the narrow alleys, visiting Paranthewali Gali and other street-food vendors. Continuing by cycle rickshaw, you will visit Asia’s largest spice market Khari Baoli (closed on Sundays). In the afternoon visit India Gate, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, drive past India Gate, Parliament Building and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3 – Delhi to Agra
With a packed breakfast from your hotel, travel to Agra by train. After hotel check-in, take some time to relax before an evening street food tour visiting Agra’s most famous snack outlets and eateries. Taste the local food and interact with street food vendors. Overnight in Agra.
Day 4 – Agra
Before sunrise you will be taken to the famous Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th Century as a mausoleum for his wife. This awe inspiring mausoleum made of marble is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. Return to your hotel for breakfast, before proceeding to Agra Fort. Overnight in Agra.
Day 5 – Agra to Jaipur
Following breakfast you will be driven to Jaipur which is known as the ‘Pink City’. En route you will visit the Akbar’s abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 – Jaipur
Embark on a sightseeing trip of Amber Fort including a ride by a local Jeep up to the fort. En route there will be a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). This evening you meet a local Indian family for a cooking demonstration follow by dinner. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 7 – Jaipur
Following breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour, visiting City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of the colourful local bazaars. After the sightseeing tour, you will visit Lakshmi Misthan Bhandar (LMB) where you will sample a large variety of Indian savoury snacks including samosa, kachories and pakoras, followed by traditional sweets at a heritage sweetshop. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 8 – Jaipur to Chennai
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for a flight to Chennai (formerly known as Madras). After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 9 – Chennai
In the morning embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai including Fort St. George (closed on Fridays) and the commercial centre, George Town. Visit the Fort House, the museum and near the temple, visit San Thome Cathedral. The morning tour ends at the Government State Museum and the National Art Gallery (closed on Fridays). In the evening you will do a Food Trail Walking Tour (every day except Sundays) to soak up the sounds, smells and tastes of Chennai. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 10 – Chennai to Pondicherry
Preceding breakfast you will be driven to Pondicherry with a visit to Mamallapuram on the way. Declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO, Mahabalipuram boasts some of India’s most sublime rock-cut art. You will also visit Auroville. Auroville, the city of dawn is an experimental international community dedicated to peace, sustainability, harmony and divine consciousness. After hotel check-in enjoy a visit to the Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight in Pondicherry.
Day 11 – Pondicherry to Kumbakonam
You will be driven to Kumbakonam, with a stop at Chidambaram, Nataraja Temple. After hotel check-in, undertake a sightseeing tour of Kumbakonam with a visit to Darasuram Temple. Overnight in Kumbakonam.
Day 12 – Kumbakonam to Chettinad
Following breakfast visit a Bronze Casting Unit in Kumbakonam before driving to Chettinad. After hotel check-in, spend the evening wandering around the local market of Chettinad (guides not available in Chettinad). Overnight in Chettinad.
Day 13 – Chettinad to Madurai
Spend the morning as you wish before enjoying a delicacy of Chettiar for lunch, followed by a drive to Madurai. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 14 – Madurai
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Madurai including a visit to Sri Meenakshi Temple and Tirumalai Nayak Mahal Palace. In the evening you will witness an Aarti Ceremony at Meenakshi Temple (non-Hindus can watch from a platform adjacent to the temple). Return to the hotel for a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 15 – Madurai to Chennai
Mid-morning you will be transferred for your flight to Chennai where you will be able to transfer for your onward flight.
